De Château Pape Clement Blanc is een van de hoogst beoordeelde witte Graves. Lich strogeel in het glas heeft de wijn in de neus tropische tonen van warme ananas, verse mango en groene guave plus hints van nootmuskaat, oranjebloesem, lanoline en minerale tonen. Vol, rijk en verleidelijk, absoluut beladen met laagjes tropisch fruit en kruiden, met een pittige lijn ter ondersteuning en een lange, weelderige afdronk. De Pape Clement Blanc is een blend van 63% Sauvignon blanc, 35% Sémillon en 2% Muscadelle. De wijn heeft 16 maanden gerijpt in 55% nieuwe en 45% 2e jaars Franse eiken vaten. Intens met goede vulling. The 2022 Pape Clément Blanc was cropped at 35hL/ha between 28 August and 2 September and matured in under 20% new oak. It is very fragrant on the nose, with lemon verbena, white peach and honeysuckle scents. Really fine definition and sense of focus. The palate is well balanced, a little steelier and more linear than recent vintages with plenty of tension on the saline finish. This should age well in bottle.

The 2022 Château Pape Clément Blanc is another beauty from this team, and if it puts on some weight over the course of its élevage, it will merit an even higher score. Honeyed lychee, minty herbs, melon, and stone fruits define the bulk of the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, with good concentration, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish. I was able to taste this on multiple occasions with consistent notes.
