Hermanos Lurton is a winery founded by French brothers François and Jacques Lurton, both from a renowned winemaking family with a rich history in the Bordeaux region. The Lurton brothers have expanded their passion and expertise in viticulture to different parts of the world, including Spain and South America.

History and Philosophy: François and Jacques Lurton started their adventure in the 80s with the aim of producing high-quality wines in emerging wine regions. Their philosophy revolves around respecting the terroir and creating wines that reflect the unique characteristics of each region. They strive to create wines with a distinct identity, combining modern techniques with traditional methods.

Spain: In Spain, the brothers established their vineyards in Rueda and Toro, two of the country's most promising wine regions. In Rueda, they mainly produce white wines from the Verdejo grape, which are known for their freshness and expressive aromas. In Toro, they focus on the Tinta de Toro grape, a local variety of Tempranillo, which produces powerful and full-bodied red wines.

Argentina: Hermanos Lurton also has a strong presence in Argentina, where they own vineyards in the Mendoza and Valle de Uco regions. Here, they produce a wide range of wines, including Malbec, Torrontés, and Chardonnay. Argentina offers the brothers the opportunity to make wines with intense flavors and excellent balance, thanks to its unique climate and soil conditions.

Innovation and Sustainability: The Lurton brothers are known for their innovative approach to viticulture. They use modern technologies to improve the quality of their wines and strive for sustainability in their vineyards. This includes minimizing the use of pesticides and herbicides, promoting biodiversity, and implementing eco-friendly practices in the vineyards and wine cellars.

Recognition: Hermanos Lurton has gained worldwide recognition for the quality of their wines. They are often praised for their ability to let the character of the grapes and the terroir speak for itself in their wines, resulting in products that are appreciated by critics and consumers alike.
