Winery Emil Bauer & Söhne is a family business run by the fifth generation: Alexander and Martin Bauer. In picturesque Nußdorf in Rhineland-Palatinate, the best conditions for viticulture can be found. The drastic improvements in the barrel cellar and the wine press have made the quality of the wines even better in recent years, which is why both winemakers were nominated as 'Newcomer of the Year 2014' at the Falstaff. A large number of grape varieties are grown here, which is typical of the Palatinate. In addition to classics such as Riesling, Grauburgunder, Weißburgunder and Silvaner, there are also international varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.
