This estate does not follow the fads of fashion, but prefers to preserve its Tuscan roots and highlight a local grape variety to show its commitment. Castellare di Castellina was created in 1968, when 5 estates joined forces. The 80-hectare vineyard is located in the heart of the Chianti region, near the small village of Castellina. On the heights of a natural amphitheater, the clay-limestone soils give rise to full-bodied, intense red and white wines, perfect for aging for a long time in the cellar. Every year, a bird is depicted on the label of each cuvée, as a sign of respect for the beautiful Tuscan landscape.
