Trebbiano di Soave

Trebbiano di soave (or trebbiano di lugana) is a white grape variety from Lombardy. Many producers nowadays use the synonym turbiana to avoid confusion with the lower quality grape trebbiano di toscana. DNA research in 2008 showed that this breed is identical to Verdicchio bianco from the Marches.
