This grape has an extraordinary aging potential and we see that with this white wine from Quinta da Falorca because this wine can remain in your cellar or wine fridge until 2033 without any problems. The wine has matured in new French oak and has a perfect alcohol percentage of 13%, which makes the wine super elegant, among other things. The wine receives high ratings year-in-year-out. The herdade do sobroso Sobro Branco is a blend of the typical Portuguese grapes: Antão Vaz, Arinto, Verdelho and the Palomino grape. The grapes were picked by hand. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel barrels at a controlled temperature for 30 days, after which it is allowed to mature on its own lees. The Blanco Sobro (or Branco in Portuguese) has a straw yellow color and is very bright. This Portuguese white wine has a wonderfully fresh taste, fresh aromas of citrus and passion fruit. The wine is very elegant wine and has a good balance between the fruit and the acids. The Colheito from Casal das Freiras has a lively fresh ruby red color. Fresh aromas of red fruit and vegetable notes and very light tobacco on the nose. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied and elegant in taste with firm tannins and balanced acidity. In our opinion, this is an ideal wine for on the terrace (just cool it slightly as they do in Portugal), with the BBQ, Spareribs or a well-made Hamburger on the Green Egg or delicious as a standalone glass with good company. The T-NAC is made from the typical Portuguese top grape Touriga Nacional and comes from 31 different clones of more than 40 years old vines.
