Can my loyalty points expire?

The points you have received on an order remain valid for 175 days. You will receive a notification by email two weeks before (part of) your points expires. This way, you are still able to use the discount points in time.

Do I need an account for discount or coupon codes?

Yes, you need an account to redeem discount codes. We have various discount coupons, such as our summer coupons that we regularly but randomly send to our customers, the Missed campaign, and other campaigns. We can only send these coupon codes to customers who are registered on the website. You can only redeem the coupon codes if you have an account with us because the discounts cannot be linked to guest orders.
Signing up for our newsletter allows you to receive these discount codes.

Do I receive a discount if I pick up my wines?

You can indicate with your order if you want to pick up your wines. If you choose this, you will see that in almost all cases* a 10% discount is automatically applied to your order. An additional advantage is that where possible, we will also deliver the products in the original packaging**

* Exceptions are articles that are already on sale and some scarce/exclusive wines

Does Grandcruwijnen offer discounts?

Because of our enormous range and that all wines can be ordered per bottle, our warehouse is rapidly growing. To keep this under control, we sometimes give a very attractive discount for wines and years of which we only have a few bottles left. Besides that, we also offer wines that we are incredibly enthusiastic about ourselves; these have an excellent price and match our quality standards. These wines will sometimes be in the spotlight for a short period. We also change our offers daily, but first come, first serve.

All wines with an extra discount are grouped at the top of the menu under 'Offers'. In addition, many of our wines have a graduated discount where you pay a lower price if, for example, you buy 3 or 6 bottles. Adding on to this, you will receive a standard and automatic discount on your order (loyalty points). These points can be redeemed when you are placing an order.

If you pick up your order at our warehouse, you will receive a discount. The discount will be processed right after you have chosen the option of picking the wines up. The discount applies to our entire range, except for very scarce wines and products already on sale.

Customers with an account will automatically receive discount points (loyalty points) on all wines, not on sale. This concerns an automatic discount of 1.5% on the value of the shopping cart (excluding promotional items).

Our offers are communicated through our Newsletter as well as email (for registered users). An overview of our current offers can be found here.

How can I find the offers?

We communicate our offers in various ways. Discount codes and special offers on scarce wines are always first and foremost communicated to our regular customers via the Newsletter and our App. The advice is certainly to subscribe to the newsletter and install the App.

We put a lot of energy into giving our customers thoughtful content. Do not expect a lengthy story about the best wine in the world or the 100/100 points wines of some unknown greatness. Instead, prepare yourself for great recent information about a wine, how it is made, the winery, and the opinions of well-known wine evaluators (such as Parker and Suckling).

HOW WE COMMUNICATE THE OFFERS:

  1. The weekly offer - every week we have a wine or winery on offer for a week. You will always find this in the main banner on our homepage (on the Website and App)
  2. All our offer wines. These can be found on the website - click here for an overview
  3. Special offers that we only communicate through our newsletter, and with a message to our App users.

    2. and scoop discount/pre-purchase
    3. offers/discount codes for new wines/wineries
    4. offers/discount codes for wines on sale

I have received a coupon or discount code from you. How does this work?

We regularly have promotions that give a discount on the range or type of wine. Discount coupons are only valid during the period stated in the specific promotion period. You can enter the relevant coupon code in your shopping cart by pressing the 'Enter code' (the discount will be deducted immediately). You can also enter the discount code on the checkout page (at the bottom of the summary of all prices).

Is there a newsletter with information, offers, and discount codes?

Yes! In principle, we send a newsletter every Monday morning containing the promotions that apply for that week. In addition, we also inform you through the newsletter when we give masterclasses and tastings (online and physical) and around en-primeur wines (this includes the high-end Bordeaux, Napa Valley, and Italian Super Tuscans). We also frequently send discount codes via the newsletter (free delivery, discount on assortment or a winery, etc.).

Given our wide range, which often includes many scarce allocation wines, anyone who is subscribed to the newsletter can be the first to use an offer, discount code, or register for a tasting, or take advantage of the first-ever discount.

In addition to the newsletter, we also send special offers to our App users. This can be a discount code or a promotion for a specific top wine. Inevitably, you will only receive this notification if you have permitted us to send you a message.

What we never do, is send unbridled daily offers and newsletters that overload you with messages. We do not spam our customers. In principle, we send a newsletter once a week, and the App users receive a message once a week with a specific offer.

Registering is very easy, and on the homepage, you will find the option to register at the bottom of the page and, of course, you can also unsubscribe with one click of a button if you find the information and offers not relevant. Click HERE to register.

If you choose this, you will see that in almost all cases* a discount will automatically be applied to your order. You will see your collection discount immediately on the Checkout page if you choose Collect. An additional advantage is that where possible we will also deliver the products in the original packaging and if there is sufficient stock and if desired we can also put them in a used wooden wine box from a beautiful winery **

Ik krijg een kortingscode maar de korting wordt niet verwerkt

Zoals we ook aangegeven in de mails en pop ups rond de kortingscodes gelden deze niet op alle producten. Uitzondering zijn bijvoorbeeld artikelen die al een aanbiedingsprijs kennen, indien u al een korting krijgt (bijv een afhaalkorting) maar ook schaarse items en speciale acties. Het 'stapelen; van kortingen is dus niet mogelijk. Dit ook om ten alle tijde binnen de wettelijke toegestane korting te blijven m.b.t. alcohol zoals vastgelegd in de Warenwet (2021).

Nu zijn dit wel uitzonderingen en in ruim 97% zal de kortingscode wel werken maar kiest u voor artikelen die in de aanbieding zijn dan is het handiger de kortingscode even op te slaan en te gebruiken bij een volgende bestelling. Deze kortingscode is namelijk uniek en exclusief.
