The most special coffee in the world comes from the Blue Mountain area in Jamaica. These mountains turn into a mysterious blue light at sunset. Jamaica. In a lofty, cloud-kissed region of Jamaica
where time seems to have stood still. Embraced by the mineral-rich soil, mountain shade, sea breeze and plenty of sunlight, the coffee bushes give their unique fruit.
The Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee has a heart of this special coffee bean supplemented with the best Arabica beans that the Central and South American continent has to offer, including the excellent Huehuetenango coffee beans from the green highlands of Guatemala. A very exclusive blend with a low caffeine content. You will taste delicate flowers, cocoa; soft delicate aftertaste. You will normally only find this coffee in the very high segment of the catering industry, but you can now also get it at home via Grandcruwijnen.nl
Blue Mountain coffee is very limited and traditionally shipped in wooden barrels (like rum). The well-known Tia Maria liqueur is also made from these coffee beans.
This version is a tin with 250 grams of the scarce Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee, but then the beans are already ground and immediately packed airtight after grinding so that freshness is guaranteed.
About Goppion
Luigi Goppion started a small coffee bar in 1859. Soon he started roasting the coffee beans himself and the real passion for coffee made only of the very best quality arose. The first coffee entered Europe through the port of Venice. This gave the local coffee merchants around Venice the first choice and could roast their coffee with the best beans. The Goppion family has been roasting the highest quality Italian coffee since 1859. Goppion Caffè is the favorite coffee of the regions of Friuli Venezia Gulia and Veneto.
In 1988, they launched the first fully organic and fair-trade coffee blend. In 2014 there was the first major Dutch success by winning the Misset Coffee Top 100 with the Goppion Caffè Nativo. Every year, Goppion customers can be found in the top 10 of the coffee test in Algemeen Dagblad.
