The Ruinart rosé is only made from grapes from Premier Cru vineyards: 45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot noir. Of the Pinois portion, 18% vinified as red wine. After manual harvesting, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and undergo biological acidification. The final cuvée is created from a blend of several vintages, 20-25% of which are Vins de Réserve from the previous 2 years. The dosage is 9g/l. The color is deep pink. Subtle and fine nose of red fruit such as strawberry and currant and even some blackberries in the background. In the scent we find clear notes of red fruit. Very rich scent! The beautifully balanced taste is fine, soft and subtle.

The second skin case is a 100% recyclable packaging with which the oldest champagne house further expands its sustainability policy. This unique eco-friendly packaging is a perfect marriage between the aesthetic and the practical; between the characteristic silhouette of the bottle and the integrity of the champagne's taste. The goal is to reduce waste and recycle materials without compromising the experience or taste. Where generous gift packaging used to be a given, fully recyclable packaging made from 100% natural wood fibers is more in keeping with the times. The innovative paper case feels silky soft and, in tribute to the crayères, features a subtle relief that is reminiscent of the visible traces of chisels in the chalk-carved historic champagne cellars of the Maison in Reims.
