Around Châteauneuf-du-Pape stretches a landscape of gently rolling slopes and sometimes large plateaus. The characteristic soil is reddish earth covered with round pebbles, small and large: Galets or Caillous roulés. These were carried along by the Rhône Glacier in the past. In some places, the layer of pebbles is one and a half to two meters thick. The stones ensure that the grapes ripen fully, as they collect solar heat during the day to radiate it again at night. Thirteen grape varieties are permitted for the production of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and the wine is therefore always a blend (a composition of different grape varieties). Each variety adds something unique to the wine. White Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a fairly rare, surprisingly beautiful wine of high quality.

The Mont Redon team produces a beautiful and elegant Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc made from 55% Grenache, 20% Clairette, and the remainder Bourboulenc and other permitted varieties. The wine is aged in stainless steel for six months. The Mont-Redon is an aromatic white Châteauneuf with soft citrus fruit, beautiful minerality, and good acidity. Bright golden yellow. Fresh and lively thanks to sufficient acidity. On the palate, round and smooth, with a long finish featuring notes of honey and almonds. A white Châteauneuf du Pape is rare and oh so refined.

Located on the highest point of the hills surrounding the village of Chateauneuf du Pape. It is the largest (private) company of the Appellation. Qualitatively at the top for years. The company belongs to the Abeil and Fabre families. Besides Chateauneuf du Pape they also make Lirac and Côtes du Rhône. with regard to the Chateauneuf du Pape, it applies that one has different labels such as "vignoble abeile" and "vignoble Fabre", but the wine is always the same. If you are in the area, the company's tasting room is definitely worth a visit. It is open every day. Around Châteauneuf-du-Pape there is a landscape of gently sloping slopes and sometimes large plateaus.
