2023 Laurenz V. Singing Grüner Veltliner

The Laurenz V. Singing Grüner Veltliner is a 100% Grüner Veltliner. The grapes for this Veltliner are mainly grown on the loess and gravel soils of the Kamptal and Kremstal valleys. Their characteristic fruitiness is due to the striking temperature fluctuations of the north-south valleys: warm air rising from the Danube valley is met by cool air flowing down from the nearby Waldviertel region and along the Kamp and Krems rivers. While this warmth influences the ripeness and concentrated aromas, the coolness lends itself strongly to the fresh fruitiness.

The Singing Grüner Veltliner is very pleasant, drinkable with a very civilized alcohol percentage. This Singing Grüner Veltliner has a light yellow, sparkling color in the glass. In the nose we smell aromas of apple, pear, citrus and a typical Veltliner spiciness. A soft, lively and fruity wine, that 'sings' in the mouth.

In April 2005, Laurenz Maria Moser V., a descendant of the famous Austrian Lenz Moser wine family, decided to dedicate herself entirely to producing Grüner Veltliner with the support of two partners. Laurenz Maria's partner Franz Schweiger, an accountant and economic expert, takes responsibility for the financial side, while Dieter Hübler takes care of marketing and distribution. Laurenz Maria concentrates on the work in the vineyards and vinification.
