Talamonti Moda Montepulciano D'Abruzzo
The aromas of red fruit jump from the glass and the rich flavors fill the mouth. With this wine, Talamonti once again proves their craftsmanship in creating quality wines.
Maturation and production of Talamonti Moda Montepulciano D'Abruzzo
Since its founding in 2001 in Abruzzo, Talamonti has strived for a perfect balance between grape variety and vineyard. With 45 hectares of vineyards, located near the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea, the winery offers optimal conditions for the indigenous grape varieties. The cooling sea breeze ensures that the grapes can ripen perfectly. Talamonti wines are produced with respect for nature and modern vinification.
The unique vineyards of Talamonti
Talamonti's vineyards, located 300 meters above sea level, cover 45 hectares and consist of stony, calcareous soils. These soils give a special character to the grapes. The grapes ripen slowly and are only harvested when they are optimally ripe, completely by hand to ensure quality. In the winery, the grapes are carefully selected and stripped of their stems. This is followed by controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and the Moda Montepulciano D'Abruzzo matures for six months in oak barrels.
The bouquet offers intense scents of cherries, plums and raspberries, which are also clearly reflected in the taste. This wine has a good structure, is elegant and offers pleasant wood notes.

Talamonti belongs to the top of Abruzzo and makes wines that are modern and not too cumbersome. In the quest for perfection, Talamonti puts everything into it. For example, the company has its own laboratory to closely monitor all steps of the vinification process. The style of the wines is full-bodied and round, which is typical of the region that lies between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea. Talamonti is located in Loreto Aprutino, a beautiful town west of Pescara and belongs to the top of this region and will do everything to maintain this position.
