Borgogno is one of the very first and probably the oldest wineries in Piedmont. This Italian winery strongly believes in the classic and traditional philosophy, which is its strength; for years, adherence to these traditions has been passed down to successive generations. Borgogno owns 13 hectares of vineyards, 9 of which are planted with the Nebbiolo grape. All wines are vinified using traditional methods to produce unique and structured wines. The wines are produced sustainably.

In the glass, this Borgogno Barolo has a beautiful, characteristic garnet red color, as befits a fine Nebbiolo. The nose is intense, revealing notes of vanilla and spices like nutmeg, bay leaf, and black pepper. It also reveals aromas of red fruit, black licorice, roses, and wood. On the palate, the wine is dry yet soft with fresh acidity, full-bodied, powerful, velvety, and well-balanced. Definitely decant in its younger years.

FACT: The wine is stored in our climate-controlled Wine Warehouse, and if you pick it up, you'll also receive a nice discount. You'll see your discount immediately when you choose "Pick up" at the checkout page. We're located right next to the Rijksweg with ample parking. Click here for our address.
