The Puglia Pop Luminaria is a red wine made from 100% Primitivo which grow according to the old Alberello method with a very low yield of a maximum of 1kg per vine. The deep, intense ruby red wine displays broad nuances of ripe fruit such as raspberry, blackcurrant and aromas of plum and cherry coming together with intriguing notes of chocolate, coconut and coffee. The taste is rich and very concentrated with spicy and fruity notes, enhanced by a consistent presence of beautifully blended tannins. This together also makes the Luminaria a real meditation wine. The Puglia Pop Riccio is made from 100% Verdeca. This grape variety owes its name to the greenish color of the grapes (The Dutch translation of the Italian verde is therefore green). Verdeca is considered an indigenous grape in Puglia, especially in the areas around the Itria Valley where this Puglia pop wine comes from. The nose is characterized by clear aromas of white fruit, green apple, and pear, then a note of bergamot, lychee and pineapple. Ultimately a pleasant hint of elderberry and hawthorn. There is also a herbaceous note of rosemary and sage and a slightly almond aroma in the background. The Triglia rosè from Puglia Pop is a special rosé from 10-35 year old Negroamaro vines with a maximum harvest of 2kg per plant. The vineyard is located in the Itria Valley, this is one of the few hilly areas in Puglia where the temperature difference between day and night ensures a nice acidity. This wine therefore produces versatility and balance in the glass with which interesting wine and food combinations can be made. The Triglia has a beautiful soft pink color and an elegant scent with notes of ripe fruit such as cherry, strawberry, raspberry and pink grapefruit. Fresh and fruity on the palate with delicate fruit aromas such as strawberry and pomegranate followed by floral aromas of geranium and wild rose in combination with the beautiful acidity and minerality makes this wine a complete experience. The Fico from Puglia pop is a red wine made from the Susumaniello grape. This rare age-old grape variety is almost exclusively found in the Salento area. The name Susumaniello originated from the Italian word 'somarello' which means donkey, this is because this grape variety can carry very large bunches of pigeons, just like the donkeys that were used for this in the past. This beautiful ruby red wine reveals a refined bouquet of aromas.
