Description
This wine, 100% from the popular Merlot grape, comes from vineyards in various regions within the Languedoc-Roussillon . By optimally utilizing the various characteristics of the wine regions, this beautiful, balanced Corette Merlot was created. The production of this wine is done in a classic way according to Bordeaux traditions, whereby the grape skins are first macerated for a long time. Part of the wine is matured for 6 to 9 months in oak barrels. This wine can be characterized as: (medium) full, aromatic, complex, partly with wood maturation.
This Corette Merlot is beautifully dark red in colour and has delicious aromas of cassis and blackberries which combine wonderfully with the also present aromas of cinnamon and thyme. In the mouth this wine is full, round, rich and velvety. The wine is very accessible but also characterful. Serve: preferably at 16-17°C.
This wine tastes delicious with a cozy dinner with dishes such as meat, poultry and various cheeses.

At the same time, the Corette wines are not only typical of their grape varieties, but also of their region of origin. The wines are described as: Wines for everyday use, that offer something to hold on to, that you can rely on, because they are always good and offer what you are looking for. Because you are a wine lover, but not necessarily a wine connoisseur. That is why we developed Corette seven years ago. The wines are made by Badet Clément, from Catherine and Laurent Delaunay, a large house that originates from Burgundy, but has also been active in Languedoc-Roussillon and the southern Rhône for a long time.
The Corette wine series has been developed exclusively for the trade and catering industry and currently consists of 8 products, each made from a single grape variety. Much attention has been paid to the appearance of the Corette wines (including labels, bottles and presentation). The Corette series contains wines from the Pays d'Oc. Corette stands for pure and honest wines for every day; wines in which the aroma and taste characteristics of the grape are well expressed. The chic and stylish design ensures the right experience on every table.
