EIVI “THE EMBRACED WINE”
This elegant albariño, from the Spanish wine region Rias Baixas, is nicely balanced with mild fruit acids and aromas and flavors of ripe citrus and passion fruit. The aim of Winemakers Eric-Paul Sanders (founder of the EIVI Lifestyle Group) and Jose Estevez (founder of Viña Almirante) was to "create something special and untraditional in the traditional way". That resulted in EIVI. An 'iconic' wine with a limited edition; only 20,000 bottles are produced every year. This is a nice 3 liter Jeroboam (double magnum) and also has several collars
EIVI is an iconic albariño from Galicia, aged on its own lees “sur lie” for a few months. The wine has a beautiful golden yellow color and is beautifully balanced with nice mild fruit acids and delicious aromas and flavors of ripe citrus and maracuja. Delicious mild fruit acids and aroma and taste aromas of ripe citrus and passion fruit. Its complexity and formidable length make this white Rias Baixas the favorite accompaniment to fish, shellfish or grilled meat for many.

The albariño grapes grow on specially selected vineyards and benefit from the influences of the sea. The grapes are picked by hand and carefully selected. Only 20,000 bottles are produced each year.
