The Brunello of Leonardo Fattoi is a very respectable wine. The vineyards for this wine are located 350 meters above sea level, on a southern slope. The vines are 15 years old. The harvest of the Sangiovese grapes takes place in the first days of October. The wine is visibly clear, brilliant, an intense ruby red color, with reflections of garnet.

The Brunello di Montalcino Fattoi has a beautiful density and beautiful aromatic notes, where everything is well balanced. As firm as it should be, but also with a good freshness. This combination makes for a beautiful wine and that is why the 93+/100 Parker points do not surprise us, besides 2015 and 2016 were also beautiful years for Brunello. Dark cherries, blackberries and plums are the main aromas, followed by the added complexity of herbs, leather and earthy notes of wild mushrooms and autumn forest. The fruit is soft and juicy which makes the wine accessible. The tannins are firm but will melt further over time.

Uncork the bottle at least 2 to 3 hours before serving. It is recommended to decant this wine so that the wine is well aerated.
