Château Belgrave is located in the Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux and has been classified as a Cinquième Grand Cru Classé since the 1855 classification. The château is located in the commune of Saint-Laurent-Médoc, bordering the Saint-Julien appellation, separated by only a stream. The estate is one of the oldest crus in the Médoc and was redeveloped in the 19th century by Bruno Devès, a Bordeaux négociant, who focused on growing viticulture on gravelly terroirs. The estate covers 59 hectares, planted with: Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (42%), Cabernet Franc (5%) and Petit Verdot (3%). The diversity of the soils favours the maturation of late-ripening varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, contributing to the complexity of the wines.

The wines of Château Belgrave are characterized by a deep ruby red color and a complex bouquet of cassis, currant leaf and spicy wood. They show a rich, complex taste with a beautiful balance and silky tannins, and a long, spicy finish.
